The new LUX ORCHESTRAL BRASS is the brass companion to LUX ORCHESTRAL STRINGS, taking everything that has made LUX ORCHESTRAL STRINGS so admired and building on the legacy. Where LUX ORCHESTRAL STRINGS built width and scale, LUX ORCHESTRAL BRASS is built around depth. Both have been captured by award-winning score mixer Peter Fuchs and the StarRecordings team, recorded on a large scoring stage with unprecedented realism, warmth and scale.
Bundle LUX ORCHESTRAL BRASS and LUX ORCHESTRAL STRINGS for a powerful combination of sections for scoring.

LUX ORCHESTRAL BRASS
With LUX Orchestral Brass, we set out to keep the same spirit that made LUX Orchestral Strings popular with composers everywhere, while recognising that brass sections need something different.
LUX Orchestral Strings made composers feel like they were in the room with the musicians. LUX Orchestral Brass does this too, but focuses more on depth than on width. We took this approach because composers told us they wanted brass they would actually use.
LUX Orchestral Brass is not meant to be another “big Hollywood brass” library like many others. Instead, it is made to work perfectly with LUX Orchestral Strings and one of the few libraries that records the full dynamic range instead of creating it artificially.
LUX ORCHESTRAL STRINGS
LUX Orchestral Strings is unlike any product we have ever made. From the very beginning we set out to create something that felt as close as possible to standing on the scoring stage. Our most ambitious library to date, designed so that composers can be even more ambitious with their music.
LUX Orchestral Strings is not just another string library. It is a 70-piece symphonic string ensemble, recorded on a large scoring stage with unprecedented realism, warmth and scale. It puts you right in the room with the orchestra.
LUX Orchestral Strings was crafted by composers for composers with a professional workflow in mind.
