INTRODUCTION

PRODUCTION AND PERFORMANCE

All vocals were recorded by a professional singer, Katharina Wirtz, with extensive credits on major fantasy game soundtracks, including large open-world titles. The performances were recorded over a long development period, allowing the library to focus on musical consistency and expressive depth.

The recordings are presented as produced vocals, with the option to dial back processing and apply your own effects. Immediate results when you need them. Flexibility when you need that instead.

This is the first time this voice is available as a scoring instrument rather than locked inside a game production.

KATHARINA WIRTZ– THE ARTIST BEHIND FANTASY VOCAL PHRASES

Katharina Wirtz is a professional German singer and flutist with extensive credits in game music. She holds a Bachelor’s degree in Music Therapy, having specialised as a singer-songwriter during her studies. After classical training in her youth and performing as a soloist with orchestras, her career evolved toward singing and touring with bands.

Since 2018, she has also worked as a session singer for video games, contributing to major franchises including The Elder Scrolls Online: High Isle, Anno 117: Pax Romana, and Frosthaven – Board Game.

FANTASY VOCAL PHRASES works as a phrase instrument, not a traditional sampler. Each phrase is a complete musical idea performed by a singer rather than assembled from single notes.

You can match phrases to the key of your track using all twelve keys, combine phrase beginnings and endings to create variation, or repitch and shape phrases further in your DAW.
