COMPOSER COMMUNITY RAISED $16,110 TO CORONA FUNDS
In early April we offered our customers and online communities a Donation Flash Sale to raise money for international Corona funds.
FLASH SALE TO FIGHT CORONA AND SUPPORT ARTISTS
The Donation Flash Sale was considered by the community as being one of the best software deals in the last couple of years. We offered a bundle of five software products for €9.90 instead of €249, which translates to a 96% discount. The sale was initiated on the one hand to support artists currently struggling with terminated contracts and on the other hand to raise money for a good cause. The deal was very well received, so that with the great help of the community collective we were able to donate $16,110.70 of our profits to CARITAS International and the Covid-19 Solidarity Response Fund for WHO powered by the United Nations Foundation and Swiss Philanthropy Foundation.
MAIN SUPPORT GOES TO WAR AND CRISIS REGIONS

While governments and international organizations need all their resources to manage this crisis, we – as a small media company – have luckily been pretty much unaffected so far.
So, we simply thought about a way to make a small contribution and give our users a possibility to help, while making them a nice offer as well. “The virus knows no national borders, nor does it distinguish between North and South or between rich and poor. And yet there are big differences: While in Europe we have functioning social systems, modern health care systems and largely filled supermarket shelves, in other countries the virus encounters an impoverished population and poor or non-existent medical infrastructure. As a globally active relief organisation with partner organisations in almost every country of the world, Caritas international stands by the side of people particularly threatened by Covid-19. For this purpose, Caritas international has set up a “Corona relief fund” to support the poorest of the poor, among other things by distributing food, hygiene packages and medical aid. The need for help is enormous and so we were very happy when the call from Sonuscore reached us. Through a great support action of their customers, international composers and artists, 10.000,00 € were collected.
