ELYSION ELEMENTS - Free Hybrid Synth
Most synth libraries sample a sound once and adjust its volume with velocity.
ELYSION does something different. It records from various sources, including some vintage synths, across multiple velocity layers, and shapes every layer so that playing soft and playing hard give you two genuinely different timbres, not the same sound at two volumes.
The quiet end is soft and rounded. Push into it, and the sound opens up, the harmonic content changes, and the character shifts the way a real instrument does under the bow or the breath.
That is the whole idea behind ELYSION: synthetic sources, treated with orchestral sampling methodology. ELYSION ELEMENTS is the free way to start exploring the ELYSION universe.

The Theme System
A Creative Way To Explore Sounds – Every Theme is named after a planet or an interstellar object, and the name tells you the character. This gives you an intuitive way to navigate the instrument.

Mars
The Warmonger
Built for conflict. Distortion, saturation and hard-edged transients define this family, and the themes respond with real force the harder you play them. Reach for Mars in trailers, battle cues, and any moment that needs to hit without apology.

VENUS
The Soulful
Warm and unhurried, built around long, breathing sustains rather than pulse or attack. These themes favour space over density, leaving room for a melody above them. Reach for Venus in reflective scenes, quiet emotional turns, or anywhere restraint carries more weight than volume.

NEPTUNE
The Planet Of Ice
Cold, distant and a little unsettling. Neptune sits in low light: slow, obscured textures with an edge of threat that never quite resolves. Reach for it when a scene needs unease or dread, or when the audience should not yet know what comes next.

MERCURY
The Nimble Racer
Quick, restless and never settled on one idea. Patterns dart between voices, and rhythmic cells shift before you expect. Reach for Mercury when a scene needs constant motion: a chase, a countdown, or a scoring moment that changes character every few bars rather than sitting still.

TERRA
Source Of Life
The most grounded planet in the set. Terra leans on tones that feel organic and close, though every source began as a synth or sound design recording. Reach for it when a scene needs warmth and proximity: a human moment inside a much larger and stranger score.

JUPITER
Illusionary Giant
Big, but not aggressive. Jupiter has scale and character with a playful streak underneath: unexpected turns, slightly off-kilter rhythms, moments that raise a smile rather than the stakes. Reach for it in quirky or larger-than-life scoring that needs weight without menace.

SATURN
The Guardian
Slow-moving and deliberate, with a weight that suggests age rather than fatigue. These themes hold steady rather than evolve quickly, suiting scenes carrying grief, memory or quiet resolve. Reach for Saturn wherever a scene needs to sit with a feeling rather than rush through it.

URANUS
The Magician
Shimmering, high-register material built for wonder rather than tension. Reach for Uranus in reveal moments, discovery beats, and anywhere a scene needs a sense of magic without tipping into darkness.

SAGITTARIUS
The Black Hole
The most extreme in the set. Heavier and darker than Mars, built for collapse rather than conflict. Reach for Sagittarius in scenes of destruction or finality, the moment after everything has already gone wrong.

ANTARES
Red Supergiant
Big, confident and unapologetically modern. Antares carries scale without subtlety: huge hits, wide stereo imaging, a sound built to fill a trailer or a title card. Reach for it whenever a scene needs to announce itself.

SIRIUS
The Bright Star
High energy and optimistic, built for scenes that move forward with confidence. Sirius carries drive without aggression: a rising, triumphant character suited to victory moments, sports scoring, or any moment when a cue needs to feel unstoppable in a good way.

ORION
Mysterious Nebula
Unstable by design. Orion shifts character without settling, holding a mood somewhere between wonder and unease. Reach for it in scenes that need ambiguity, where the audience is not yet sure whether to feel safe.
Four Theme Types
The four theme types tell you how each one behaves. Pick the character and the behaviour, then play a chord.
Animated
Themes
Build complex rhythmic and melodic arrangements with full effect and arp activity.
Pad
Themes
Sustained, evolving textures that hold, brood and breathe under everything else.
Hit
Themes
Sharp, percussive impacts that land hard for accents, stabs and transitions.
Pulse
Themes
Rhythmic, driving patterns that lock to your tempo and push a track forward.
