Epic Atmospheres takes The PULSE into wide, evolving synthesiser sounds, designed for composers working on dystopian or science fiction projects.
This expansion includes 20 enveloping sessions that mix warm analogue synths, big reverbs, deep drones, and changing harmonic textures. Each session feels alive, with texture, modulation, harmony, and space shifting even when you hold one chord.
The sounds are inspired by scores such as Vangelis’ original Blade Runner, as well as Hans Zimmer and Benjamin Wallfisch’s work on Blade Runner 2049. These influences are used as a creative starting point rather than pastiche. The result is a mix of darkness, beauty, and futuristic elements, while retaining warmth and humanity at its core.
